  • Dominic Buchanan

    Co-CEO

    Dominic Buchanan is a Peabody and BAFTA winning producer, whose films have premiered, and won awards at Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca and the Cannes Film Festival to name but a few. Dominic co-founded and launched HOME TEAM in September 2020 with producer Bennett McGhee. The company has commissions with BBC, Netflix and projects in development with Universal International Studios, where they have a First Look deal, on the television side of the business.

    Prior to Home Team, Dominic was VP of Production & Development at Bold Films, where on behalf of Bold Films, he co-produced the film COLETTE (2018), starring Keira Knightley. Dominic also produced director Hong Khaou’s lauded 2014 Sundance film LILTING, starring Ben Whishaw. He was an executive producer on the break-out Channel 4 & Netflix co-production, THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD. The show has won multiple accolades, including the 2020 BAFTA TV Award for Best Drama Series.

  • Bennett McGhee

    Co-CEO

    Bennett is a BAFTA and BIFA nominated producer whose credits include MOGUL MOWGLI, co-written and directed by Bassam Tariq and starring Oscar-nominated actor Riz Ahmed, with whom Tariq co-wrote the script. MOGUL won the Berlinale FIPRESCI award, picked up 7 BIFA nominations and was BAFTA-nominated for Outstanding British Film. He is also an Executive Producer on writer/director Dionne Edwards directorial debut PRETTY RED DRESS, produced by Georgia Goggin / Teng Teng Films. Other credits include director Ed Lilly’s debut film, rap-battle drama VS.; Ron Scalpello’s feature documentary BOBBY, about the sporting and cultural icon, Bobby Moore, and as Associate Producer, on multi-Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning BROOKLYN starring Saoirse Ronan produced by Finola Dwyer and Amanda Posey (Wildgaze Films).

    Prior to Home Team, Bennett set-up Silvertown Films, and was a British Film Institute 2016 Vision Award awardee. Before then he worked at Wildgaze Films including on multi-Oscar-nominated AN EDUCATION and Dustin Hoffman’s directorial debut QUARTET; Blueprint Pictures; UK Film Council; and was selected for Working Title Films’ inaugural Action Internship Scheme.

  • Jess Hill

    Head of Development

    Jess heads up Home Team’s development, nurturing a slate of distinctive TV & Film projects. Starting out in theatre, she cut her screenwriting teeth at the BBC and Mammoth Screen before going on to script edit GIRI /HAJI (BBC and Netflix) and script exec LANDSCAPERS (HBO and Sky) for Sister. She loves working with writers and filmmakers, and is at her happiest empowering them to bring their unique visions to screen.

  • Emily Stubbs

    Development Coordinator

    Emily joined Home Team in 2021, following seven years working as a production coordinator across film and TV. Having worked on productions such as THE SOUVENIR, BAGHDAD CENTRAL (Channel 4), PRETTY RED DRESS and SMALL AXE (BBC One), Emily began script reading before moving into development full time. Now Home Team’s development coordinator, she works closely with writers across our film and tv slates, as well as searching for new projects and talent.

  • Hattie Gibson

    Development and Production Assistant

    Hattie joined Home Team in August 2021 as the Team Assistant. She has since been promoted to Development and Production Assistant, working closely with the development team and directly with talent on projects whilst continuing to support Dominic and Bennett. Hattie began her career in agenting working with HoDs at Echo Artists before shifting gear to Writers and Directors at Troika.
